kwa kortiEVERY STORY LEAVES A TRACE.

WHY KWA KORTI

Curiosity about people.
Care for their stories.

Mystery is where we begin.

Kwa Korti grew from a fascination with murder mysteries, case files, sleuthing and detective work. A clue matters because someone left it. A story matters because someone lived it, imagined it, or needs to tell it.

THE QUESTIONS WE RETURN TO

What lies beneath
the obvious?

We are interested in human nature: power and belonging, loyalty and betrayal, justice and responsibility. We ask what makes a person cross a line, and what helps someone hold to their values.

Psychology, masculinity, vulnerability and moral ambiguity are subjects to explore thoughtfully. Our mysteries invite interpretation, attention and doubt: follow the evidence, then decide what you believe.

THE PERSON BEHIND THE WORDS

Identity is
worth preserving.

Our publishing work follows the same thread. We help an author find the shape of a story without losing their voice. We turn handwriting into personal type so a dedication, a memory or a letter still feels connected to its writer.

Not every story needs a mystery. Every story deserves care.

AN INDEPENDENT PUBLISHING HOME

Stories first.
Names on the spine.

Kwa Korti is our fiction and production line. Ravenwood Press is our mystery imprint. We publish under these house names so the work can speak for itself.

A small creative practice

We make stories about identity, human nature and justice, alongside fictional investigations readers can solve. New releases explain their formats, intended use and production process, including any AI use.

Personal publishing, by agreement

Manuscripts and handwriting commissions are considered individually. Before payment, we agree who will do the work, what you will receive, the price and the delivery date. Quotations and invoicing are handled by Tony Kamau, the owner of Kwa Korti and Ravenwood Press.
